JAMMU, Sep 24:Pressing for the need to provide better road connectivity for better communication between various locations of Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Speaker J&K State legislature and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the Macdamization work form By- Pass Narwal to Bahu Rotary.
He was accompanied by Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B), Mohammad Abdullah; AEE, PWD(R&B), Rafiq Sheikh, Baldev Billoria, Rajeev Charak, Bashir Khatana, Pitamber Sharma, Hardesh, Ankush Khajuria, Subash Kumar, Balvinder Singh, Bharat Bhushan, Ramesh Kumar and other prominent citizens of the area.
Stressing for promoting new projects in neglected areas by upgrading the existing infrastructure, he said that the present government is committed to develop each and every corner of the State and these things are getting visible on the ground as the government has formulated a comprehensive development plan for the State, keeping in mind all the social, economic and climatic factors effecting the development.
Soon after inaugurating the macadamization work, he apprised that the whole State is witnessing unprecedented development since the formation of new government and urged the people to personally monitor the works being executed in their respective areas.
He said that the several projects of PDD, PHE, Education, Health, and PWD(R&B) have been initiated in Gandhi Nagar, which is going to give a sigh of relief to the residents of this constituency and the results will be seen very soon and moreover boost the economy of the State in general and Gandhi Nagar in particular.
For ensuring better road connectivity to left out habitations of rural areas, works on various links, roads and bridges works have been taken up under various schemes Viz NABARD, CRF, etc. and further said that it is the endeavour of the present government to provide better infrastructural facilities and they are conscious of the difficulties of the people of these areas.
