J&K: Court rejects bail application for creating fake H&ME website for fake appointment letters

Srinagar, Dec 5: One Tahir Ahmad Bhat of Anantnag and four other accused were arrested by the cyber police for duping the innocent job seekers by offering them fake appointment letters in the Health & Medical Education department and uploading them on the cloned website of the department.

During the course of investigation, it surfaced that 10 candidates were allured by the accused persons and provided them with the fake appointment letters. 

The accused had uploaded the letters on fake website of the department, created by the accused fraudsters. Besides fake appointment orders referring to the health & Medical Education Department have also been created and uploaded on the website.

The Special Mobile Magistrate in the order observed that the accused persons including accused applicant are habitual criminals and many FIRs are already registered against them in other police stations.

The court of special mobile magistrate has denied bail to an accused in the fake Health and Medical Education website case.
