DC Suspends 2 Doctors, 3 Paramedics For Absence From Duty

 KUPWARA, JANUARY 30: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara today paid a surprise visit to PHC Gushi around 3pm and found 5 employees including 2 doctors absent from duty.

The Deputy Commissioner directed concerned BMO for appropriate action under rules.

Meanwhile, the Block Medical Officer Kupwara issued a suspension order under endorsement No.BMOK/3245-47 dated 30-01-2023 in which 5 employees of PHC Gushi namely Dr. Latief Ahmad, Medical Officer; Dr. Imet Pal Singh, Dental Surgeon; Muneer Ah Nomani, Sup. Pharmacist; Mohd Sultan Bhat, Male Nurse and Hafeeza Begum, FMPHW have been placed under suspension till pending enquiry.

The order further reads that the pay for the month of January 2023 shall be kept withheld till further directions.
