Awantipora, Nov 29: Public Darbar was convened in Awantipora today and was held under Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department,Saurabh Bhagat, IAS.
The Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department, was accorded a warm welcome by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama,Dr.Basharat Qayoom(IAS), Additional District Development Commissioner Pulwama, SSP Awantipora, ADC Awantipora, and other District officers.
Local demands were put forward by the public, which were carefully listened to by the dignitary. Further, mementos were distributed to the dedicated members of the Pani Samiti, recognizing their invaluable contributions to community welfare.
Commissioner/Secretary reiterated the Government's commitment to directly engage with the people, emphasizing that the primary goal of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Public Darbar is to fulfill this directive.
He highlighted that services are now accessible online, aligning with the broader objective of fostering a developed and connected region.
