JAMMU, Nov 20: First powers of Transfers of DSPs in Jammu and Kashmir were with J&K Police
Then earlier this year J&K Govt issues Trasfer orders of DSPs.
After this then DGP J&K issued transfer order of DSP.
Then on month of October , J&K Govt issued Order that Government will issue transfers of DSPs.
Sources told Cross Town News , On the last day of retirement, then DGP J&K Dilbag Singh wrote a letter to Government that transfer of DySPs should remain as matter of Police and J&K Police is a disciplined force and know how to carry on with things.
Yesterday, J&K Police issued transfer order of DSPs , which gives signals that DGP will conduct transfers of DSPs in future.
