JAMMU,Jan 20: The meeting of the Executive Committee of Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held today at Chamber House under the Presidentship of Sh. Rakesh Gupta.
While taking of the agenda of the meeting the house unanimously decided to hold the elections for the Posts of President, Sr. Vice President, Jr. Vice President, Secretary General, Secretary and Treasurer on Sunday 5th March 2017. The President proposed the Name of Sh. Annil Suri (Ex-President BBIA) of M/s A.B. Consultants, Kachi Chawni for the Post of Election President which was unanimously accepted and also the names of Sh. Rajan Gupta of M/s Amarnath Satpal & Co, Warehouse, Sh. Jagdish Langer of M/s Champion Sports, Gangyal and Sh. Ashwani Khullar of M/s Top deck Plywood House, Gandhi Nagar were approved and passed by the Executive Committee as members of the Election Committee.
It was also approved by the Executive Committee that necessary purchases needed for completion of ongoing renovation works of Chamber House be made and a Maa Ka Jagran shall be held after the completion of the renovation works in the month of February 2017.
The house was also informed that 311 new members were enrolled during the tenure which was unanimously approved by the house.
