Raqeeq Ahmed Khan Demands Regularization Of Home Guards In J&K

MENDHAR, Nov 30: Apni Party Vice President Youth Wing J&K, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan has demanded regularization of the Home Guards.
In a statement to the press, Khan said that the Govt should accept the long pending demand of the Home Guards with regard to the 12 months duty on a daily basis and accordingly they should be paid the salaries.
He said “The Home Guards are getting Rs 2700 per month and it is unjustified for them as they serve the department like police force yet they are ignored.”
He further said that the Home Guards of J&K should be given salaries at par with their colleagues in Chandigarh and Delhi. He demanded that the Govt should be given equal rights to the Home Guards.
