CS  J&K impresses upon  departments to work on backend digitalization of all records/services

Jammu, Sept 19: In a high level meeting with Commissioner/Secretaries, CS j&K Dr Arun Mehta said that  an important suggestion made during the Bharshtachar Mukt J&K campaign was to disseminate information with regard to PSGA timeline as a part of message delivered to the applicant at the time of registration for the online services

CS also impressed upon all the departments to work on the backend digitalization of all records/services in a mission mode so that entire process is digitalized to ensure paperless governance.

Beside the CS asked all the departments to identify at least five required additional services which can be made the part of the online services.

He further stressed to ensure all govt processes are shifted on e mode to foster transparency and set a target of having 1500 e services in J&K.

With regard to low adoption of e office in certain field offices, the Chief Secretary retiterated the earlies directions to all Administrative Secretaries to supervise e office file operation within their departments.
