J&K: DB seeks personal appearance of  "BOSSES" regarding illegal constructions at Patnitop, if fails to do needful: BOCA of PDA?

Jammu, Sept 16: Authroities of Patnitop Dev Authority and  "CHAIRMAN" of Patnitop Development Authority are in question for not getting approval of Revised Master Plan of PDA, because otherwise allowing Bye Laws of Master Plan of 2000 is illegal & are in violations?

DC Udhampur, as Chairman, BOCA alos not cleared Building Permissions of PDA causing harassment to concerned & otherside allowing mushrooming of illegal constructions & developments of lands but who have paid development charges have been put on hold raised a question on JKUT Govt as a whole on its so called services at door steps?

Today, in a Public Interest Litigation regarding illegal constructions at Patnitop, Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court comprising Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh and Justice Rajesh Sekhri has granted four weeks time to Senior AAG Monika Kohli appearing for the CBI to do the needful in terms of order dated 24.07.2023, failing which the concerned officials will be directed to appear before the court.

On July 24, 2023, Division Bench granted six weeks time to Senior AAG Monika Kohli, counsel for the CBI, to apprise the court as to whether the sanction has been granted from the concerned authority for filing the charge sheet, if not, then assign the reasons there for.

Pertinent to mention here thar on December 31, 2019, Division Bench had directed Director Central Bureau of Investigation to conduct in-depth enquiry into encroachment on forest land and other public land, illegal change of use and misuse of the land in violation of the permitted use, raising of illegal constructions, failure of the authorities to take action, fix the responsibility of the persons who were at the helm of affairs, were duty bound to and responsible for their taking action, their failure to proceed in accordance with law on issues regarding several aspects relating to the illegal constructions compounding and misuse thereof and any other illegality.
