JAMMU, Jan 12: As of 2015-16, Jammu & Kashmir has higher unemployment rate in its labour-force falling within the age range of 15-29 years.
As per Stats available with Cross Town News , Among the people who are 15-17 year old and are looking for employment, the unemployment rate is 57.7%. This is significantly higher than the unemployment rate of 19.8% of the entire country.
Similarly, the unemployment rate in the 18-29 year old category is 24.6%, which is higher than the country’s rate of 13.2%.
