Rs 6 cr development works on cards in G’Nagar Constituency: Kavinder Gupta

JAMMU: Kavinder Gupta senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister paid obeisance at the Mahakali Temple inside Bahu Fort on the auspicious occasion of first Navratra and prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity in the Union Territory of J&K.
Soon after offering prayers at the Bahu Fort Temple, the BJP stalwart visited Ward No. 69 in Sainik Colony and kick-started the blacktopping work of a road, which was long pending. Thereafter, the senior BJP functionary started lane and drain works at Ward No. 45 in Digiana locality. Vinay Gupta BJP District President, Narinder Gupta Koki, Gurmeet Randhawa Corporator Ward 69, Shallu Gupta, Bharat Bhushan Mandal President Satwari, Vinod Kumar and Sanjay Gupta accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister.
Interacting with the people in these wards, Kavinder said that development works for over Rs 6 crore are in offing in the Gandhi Nagar Constituency and soon the area will witness sea change as far as its development profile is concerned. He said that people are themselves witness to the way the development process has been taken up by the BJP leadership in the Constituency. He said that the BJP government is committed to fulfill its promises made during the campaign trail of the Lok Sabha elections and there is no promise with regard to J&K, which shall not be fulfilled as party leadership is on toes to dedicate everything promised to people in stipulated time.  
At ward No. 45, the senior BJP leader said that unfortunately Corporator Raj Rani has left for heavenly abode but it is the promise of BJP to fulfill all her commitments made before the public. He said that this will be the true homage to the late colleague of BJP leaders, because she was the dedicated worker of the party.  
Kavinder said that BJP leadership is looking after the wards so that people of Digiana area may not face any inconvenience with regard to development works after the passing away of the aforementioned Corporator.
