UDHAMPUR, Sep 19: The Legal Metrology Department today sealed the central Godwan of Ambhuja cement here at Railway road to implement (temporary) ban on its sale, supply and stocking. Acting swiftly on Government order no. 104-CAPD of 2015 dated 18/09/2015 which imposes temporary ban on the sale, stocking and supplies of Ambuja cement product in state, the LMD team on the directions of DDC Udhampur Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, inspected the Aryaman associates C&F of Ambuja cement in Udhampur district and sealed the central godown on railway road.
The team also inspected establishments of various stockists of Ambuja cement namely DBN traders, Sanjay traders, quality general store and took stock details of the product with them.The team directed the stockists not to supply the product in retail chain in Udhampur district and adjoining districts till further orders by the government.
