Srinagar, Jan 08 : Welcoming Tasaduq Hussain Mufti into party fold, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday hailed his decision terming it a need of hour to transform Jammu and Kashmir into a better place and foster new bonds of trust between common masses and the party.
PDP in a statement issued to, has termed Tasaduq a person with ‘selfless courage’ with a desire to ensure betterment in peoples’ lives who have been witnessing turbulence since decades. The party also hailed the efforts of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti is persuading Mufti to serve the party. PDP’s Srinagar District president and upper house member, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, said Tasaduq is a self-made man who achieved success in life by virtue of his hard work and consistent efforts. “It is not Tasaduq who needs PDP. It is in actual the PDP that needs the person of his stature. His command and sincerity in work is already being praised by one and all, not only in JK but across the country. We are sure that his entry in the party would help us in transforming the dream of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed into reality.
It will rejuvenate our desires and will strengthen our hopes. He is man with genuine spirit of patriotism,” Alam said. He maintained further that the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has battled against various forces very bravely and the impression she has left on the minds of people is that she is actuated by high sense of fairness and impartiality. “It is upto us, as people now, to make her task less difficult and help her as far as lies in our power,” Alam said in a statement. The PDP leader added that Mufti Tasadaq’s ability and personality are such that it is not much of an exaggeration to say that he will be Kashmir’s Savior from uncertainty and chaos that the state witnessed in the past. “Now a vast responsibility rests on the shoulders of Jinab Tasaduq Mufti. He is blunt and direct and no one has any doubt what he means when he speaks,” he said.
