JAMMU, Dec 27:In a shocking series of events PDD in Samba has sent bills to person even when there is no installment.
An applicant informed Cross Town News that he has been sanctioned with two power connections by PDD department vide 2200-78 & 3711733 in the name of Pura Chand r/ o Jhung, Tehsil Ramgarh District Samba.
The applicant was issued with electricity bill by the intelligent officers for payment in one connection 1.09.2009 to 29.09.2916 to the tune of Rs 24967/= but informed that there was no any installation of power line till that date. Is a matter of enquiry. I
In other connection for installation of pump set which was installed in 2011 & till date no power line has been installed but PDD sent a bill of Rs. 16646/ is a grave irregularity of the officers to be looked into.
However the applicant informed that he had represented to Commissioner PDD for the same & he had assured to sort out the issue at the earliest. The representations of applicant speaks the efficient actions of the officers of PDD, Samba. Shall actions be taken on such officers for their such a big negligence to harass an old man of eighty's.
