Srinagar, June 27: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo reviewed the implementation of the Vibrant Villages Programme (VVP) in Jammu & Kashmir
He called for a detailed gap analysis and convergence-based action plans across key sectors. Targeting 124 villages in 43 border blocks, the VVP focuses on enhancing road, telecom, television, and electricity connectivity through schemes like PMGSY-IV, Digital Bharat Nidhi, BIND, and RDSS.
With substantial progress already made, the Chief Secretary emphasized inter-departmental coordination, awareness campaigns, and strategic planning to ensure the holistic development of these border areas.
