JAMMU, June 22: In a good step, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at a high-level meeting with the Administrative Secretaries, Deputy Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police set July 7 deadline for completion of promotion process for Prime Minister’s Package employees.
Prime Minister’s Package employees who have been demanding promotion for many years but were denied the same leading to stagnation among them, which will now be removed.
Experts speaking to Cross Town News said that DPCs have to be done twice a year , similar actions will remove stagnation for Employees in all departments of Jammu and Kashmir, as many Officers/Officials are awaiting for their promotions.
