JAMMU, Sep 08: Senior IAS Officer of J&K Shahid Iqbal relinquished charge to take up new Assignment in Arunachal Pradesh.
Shahid said "Today, I am relinquishing charge as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to take up my new assignment in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. Jammu & Kashmir is home, and serving its people has been among the most meaningful privileges of my career."
Iqbal said "I leave with deep gratitude for the trust, affection and goodwill received over the years, and for the immense learning that this land and its people have given me. Every assignment is a new opportunity to learn, contribute and serve. I carry the experiences of J&K with me as I begin this next chapter, with humility, optimism and sincere commitment to public service. Grateful for the journey. Ready for what lies ahead."
