Draupadi Murmu is NDA's choice for President

NEW DELHI, June 21: Draupadi Murmu, former Jharkhand Governor, has been announced as the BJP lead National Democratic Alliance's candidate for the presidential polls.
Earlier in the day, former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha was selected as the joint Opposition candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.
Presidential polls will be held on July 18 and the result will be declared on July 21. The counting of votes, if it happens, will be held in Delhi.
If elected, the 64-year-old will be the first tribal woman to become the President of India.
