Shall Govt look into compliance of last deadline ordered for digitization of land record? Kundal asks for progress


 RAJOURI, JUNE 20: Lot of DCs asks officers regarding completion digitization of land record but had some bothered to act for  non compliance .

 What action govt has taken on the defaulter company for such a big delay of the woprk as per terms & conditions fixed in the allotment order, if enquired shall detect a serious issue in allotment & alloting officer as well as in terms conditions of completing the said excercise in which time.

However, today again, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting of revenue officers and reviewed the progress of scanning of documents, quality check and up gradation of jamabandies for digitization of land record under Digital India Land Record Modernization Programs (DILRMP).

Officers present in the meeting included ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and revenue officials.

While reviewing the progress, it was informed that the quality check/inspection of 241 Jamabandis have been completed, of which digitization 130 has been started.

The DC stressed upon completing the process of digitization of Jamabandis at the earliest.

He also underlined the priorities of the Government like digitisation of Jamabandies, online delivery of different revenue services and other public friendly initiatives launched by the Government to bring transparency and accountability in the department.

The DC also directed the revenue officers to educate the public about the online portal through which revenue records can be viewed and downloaded.
