Jammu, May 10 : The S.C. Department of JKPCC holds executive meet at PCC HQ Shahidi Chowk Jammu under the chairmanship of Dr. Karan Bhagat.
The executive meet discussed and created blue print for coming program’s 2022. They also discussed the present situation of organization at grass root level.
The state body also took strong note and discussed that ‘Dalits are disillusioned with BJP regime in country, especially in J&K. There is no such steps taken for upliftment of Dalits in UT SC Advisory Board, which is Default from 4 years. Where Dalits will put up their grievances? SC ST OBC Corporation’s new policy is also anti - dalits. In old procedure there were no guarantee with regard to avail the small scale loans but in new order of the corporation one must have Govt. Servant guarantor and how it is possible that the Govt. servant will give guarantee to a tea stall vendor.
The Scholarship of lower and higher education were also discussed. Office bearers raise a point that deliberately the Govt. is having the students for delay in their scholarship share from Govt. There is no visibility for implementation of Schedule Caste Sub Plan in state.
Karan Bhagat put stress on the organization to visit all areas, especially the Dalit populated areas to make people aware for the steps taken by UPA Govt for upliftment of poor and Dalit community. He also give instructions to office bearers to complete organization structure within one month at local level. He also requested to Dist Chairmen to organize “Dalit Chintan Shiver” in their Districts.
