RAJOURI, MARCH 06: Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera, Neelima Shah on Sunday seized 20 billets of illegally felled Khair during a raid in village Garan.
On a tip off from reliable sources, the Divisional Forest Officer conducted a search operation in the village Garan and seized the Khair logs which were illegally felled.
Ved Parkash Block Forest Officer Daramsaal and Rangeel Singh Block Forest Officer Sunderbani also accompanied the Divisional Forest Officer during the raid. The raid was conducted under the direct supervision of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri.
Sources said that Similar Actions likely in more places of Jammu and Kashmir in coming days.
