JAMMU, Jan 29:Bharatiya Janata Party held a "Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan" under the leadership of Vinay Kumar Gupta District President Jammu of Gandhi Nagar and Satwari Mandals respectively here at party headquarter Trikuta Nagar falling under Jammu District which was attended by BJP Stalwart Senior leader Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, Former Minister Satpal Sharma & District General Secretaries Ankush Gupta and Naresh Sharma.

Kavinder, while addressing the Sammelan focused on the dedicated mass working of the party cadre. He admired the absolute discipline shown by the party workers while helping the needy in the lockdown period and said that no other political party workers were visible anywhere during the troubled times. "He also did mention that many of the party karyekartas got infected but did not buckle out of the pressure. Kavinder asserted that the BJP is fully prepared for the upcoming assembly polls, which would be announced after the completion of the delimitation exercise, and had set a target of 50-plus assembly seats." He urged party cadres to knock on every door ahead of Assembly polls of respective Mandals of Jammu District and solve their problems by staying in the midst of the inhabitants.

Kavinder furthermore stated Article 370 was in place for decades but was their peace in Jammu and Kashmir, Former Dy CM asked today on Saturday, asserting that the 2019 abrogation of the Constitutional provision has ushered in peace, good business investment and an influx of tourists throughout in J&K under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Kavinder emphasized the strengthening of party structure at the grass-root level. He also stressed holding organizational programmes at the booth level to carry the message of the party clearly to the ground activist.

Addressing the Sammelan, Satpal Sharma asked them to hold the party's regular workshops for the capacity building of the party cadre. He said that with the efficient working of the party cadre, masses will feel more connected with the party and its leaders.

Vinay Gupta, on the occasion, lauded the local party activists for their dedicated services to the society during the "COVID- 19" lockdown period. He also highlighted the role of party workers. He asked the party cadres to further increase their working within the society to ensure the deliverance of party messages to every house of the Jammu District. Vinay in his address spoke in detail on the organizational issues and discussed its forthcoming programmes with the party cadre. He also prompted the party activists to come up and discuss their issues with the party leadership. Gupta said that Prime Minister Modi will also address the nation on February 2, 2022, on Aatam Nirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India). Giving an example of India can achieve self-reliance, Gupta said that when the Covid-19 outbreak started India did not manufacture any PPE kits, but today India can manufacture  PPE kits and N95 masks. "India has converted crisis into opportunity.

Mandals Presidents, Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, Booth Presidents from duo Mandals were present on the occasion.
