J&K Govt will take strict actions against corrupt officers: Kohli


 

RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 27- Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli today convened a public grievance redress camp at Dewali, Kalakote. A large number of locals including prominent citizens attended the camp.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said the government is committed to enhance transparency and accountability within the government offices adding that strict action will be taken against anybody found guilty in this regard.

"For bringing transparency and accountability in all departments in the state, various initiatives have been taken up, which are yielding positive results and has led to improved functioning of all departments," he said.

The Minister said there is a need for expediting pace on all ongoing developmental works so that the government vision of “accessible affordable and equitable development for all” is realized at the earliest and people of the area can get benefit from it.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mumtaz Choudhary, District Animal Husbandry Officer Ismail, Executive Engineer PWD, PHE and PDD beside other district officers and prominent citizens were present in the meeting.
