Ganga inaugurates JK Day at IITF

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 26: Jammu and Kashmir day was celebrated today at the India International Trade Fair-2016 being organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. 

J&K’s Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga inaugurated the event.

The Fair has assumed the status of an iconic event and the main attraction of the state day was cultural programme of all the three regions of the state performed by the artists of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. 

The cultural programme, depicting the richness of diverse cultural ethos, attracted thousands of people. The main thrust was on promoting folk music and dances of Jammu and Kashmir. The programme proved a unique caricature of the rich cultural heritage of the state.

 After the cultural programme, the Minister visited the Pavilion where different stalls of the state have been put up which was thronged by thousands of people.

Director-Handicrafts and other senior officers of the state were present on the occasion.
