SRINAGAR: A total of 190 youth from Jammu and Kashmir Saturday joined Army at Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) Regimental Centre.
A defence spokesman said the recruit course serial number 107, on having completed one year of strenuous training, was attested today at a glittering parade at the Bana Singh Parade Ground of JAKLI Regimental Centre at Rangreth in district Budgam.

"Their Passing Out Parade, depicting graduation of a recruit and his transformation into a young soldier, was reviewed by Lt Gen Rakesh Sharma, who is the Director General of Operational Logistic and Strategic Movement in Army Headquarter and was attended by over 1500 parents / relatives of the young soldiers from the State along with a number of civil and military dignitaries," he said.
