Jammu, Dec 01: There are so many issues for J&K Revenue Department , where Public has been harrassed, the main is non compliance of SRO-456 of 25th October, 2017 & SO 3808 issued by MHA dated: 26th October, 2020 w.r.t.section 140 over a serious issue of Gair Mumkin Khad land issue till date clearly speaks of so called deriliction of duties on their part but Govt sleeps for actions.
Recently SDM, South regarding missing of latha etc etc of village Sunjwaan and Chowadhi lodged an FIR in Police Station Channi Himmat a month back, now, after the lodging of FIR w.r.t. vilage Chowadhi and Sunjwaan, the revenue services like fardintikhab, demarcations etc etc have been held up for which the people having landed property in the said villages are in quandary.
Poeple speaking to Cross Town News at Tehsil Office Bahu said, a new issue had been arised in Tehsil Bahu regarding issuance of Revenue documents like fards for loan, sale & other related documents in pretext of some FIR , creating hurdles for us.
People further informed Cross Town News that post lodging of FIR the Tehsildar, Bahu reportedly, in order to ensure that the revenue services in these two villages area be provided within the time frame had communicated to the concerned higher authorities through SDM Jammu South as to what procedure be adopted for delivery of the revenue services but no directions/clarifications has been issued so far.
People said there are many villages in distt. Jammu, where massvi/latha etc etc are not avaible in various tehsils of district Jammu or if available are in delapidated condition and of no use but in that areas such services are being provided as usual.
People said why revenue related services are being provided to public of that Tehsils/villages by the concerned revenue officer/officials and demanding that there should be uniforn yardsticks for issuance of revenue services in all areas in one district, where massavi/lathas are missing or in too delapidated condition.
Poeple said that revenue records like latha is not available is substantial areas of Jammu province, work was being carried on using other measures, termed to be effective.
However, it was also informed by the local public that the revenue services in other villages of Tehsil Bahu are being provided to the concerned public by the concerned revenue officer/officials of Tehsil Bahu in a time bound manner, only problem is in Sunjwaan & Chowadhi, which is needed to be sorted out at the earliest to save innocents from further unnecessarily created harassment.
