JAMMU,Nov 08: J&K Govt has extended last date of filling VAT returnsfor first and second quarter to 30th November and 31st December respectively.
An order to this effect was issued on Tuesday by Commissioner/Secretary Finance Naveen Choudhary.
As per the order copy available with Cross Town News , it states “ In exercise of power conferred by proviso to sub-rule (2) of rule 28 of the J&K Value added tax rules, 2005, the Government hereby directs thet the last date for filing of returns for the First and Second Quarter of 2016-17 shall now be 30th November, 2016 and 31st December, 2016 respectively.”
