JAMMU: The Fencing Association of India vide Communication No. FAI/2021-22/287 dated 25.08.2021 given extension to the Adhoc Committee of J&K Amateur Fencing Association to look after the Fencing Activities in UT of J&K till permanent body is elected.
Two new members were also included in the Committee viz. Ms. Supriya Chouhan (Advocate & Former National Fencer) and Mr. Harpreet Singh, Representative from FAI. Furthermore, the FAI congratulate the Adhoc Committee under the Convenership of Mr. Rashid Ahmed and other Members for the commendable job in the process of participation of J&K Fencing Teams in recently concluded National Championships i.e Junior National, Senior National held at Rudrapur Uttarakhand and Sub Junior held at Orissa in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council wherein J&K team in all the National Championship shown excellent performance and earned 1 Gold and 2 bronze Medals.
