SRINAGAR, Oct 27: J&K Government re-constituted committee on "Sexual harassment against women employees" in J&K
The order copy available with Cross Town News sates that "In supersession of all previous orders on the subject and in pursuance of Section 4(1) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of the Complaint Committee, comprising the following,
Ms. Dilshad Khan, Secretan/ to the Government, Department of Culture (Chairperson)
Ms. Nitu Gupta, Special Secretary to the Government, Hiqher Education Department. (Member)
Ms. Nuzhat Shah, Section Officer, Industries & Commerce -- Department.(Member)
to register and enquire into and dispose of the complaints, if any, of sexual harassment against women employees of the Civil Secretariat:
The Committee shall submit to the Government in General Administration Department
- i. its report on each complaint received by it regarding sexual harassment against women employees of the Secretariat for consideration of the Government;
ii. quarterly/annual reports about the total number of complaints received, enquired by and action taken on the same."
