LEH, July 28: MP Ladakh Jamyang Namgyal collected ground reports from the residents of the flood affected areas of Kargil and Nubra.
Jamyang said " collected ground reports from the residents of the flood affected areas of Kargil and Nubra including Sangrah, Namsuru and Khawos in Taisuru Block, Pargyue, Datse-mangbor, Samra, Bodhkharbu, stakchey-khangral of Kargil and Murgi, Tsati & Tirith of Nubra and requested respective District Magistrates to keep the concerned Officials of Disaster Response, Rescue & Relief alert and work on war footing level.
Agricultural lands, Irrigation Channels, Trees, Road and other properties were washed away and some houses were also damaged. "Electricity, Drinking Water and other essential services got affected. No live lost reported till now.
