SAMBA, OCTOBER 20 - Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today felicitated Rajinder Singh and Pardeep Kumar of Sarore, Samba for their outstanding achievements at international level Wushu events.
Rajinder won silver medal at recently concluded 9th Asian Games at Taiwan while Pardeep won bronze medal at South Asian Games, Shillong. He also gave a cash prize of Rs 25000 to both the players.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the hard work and dedication shown by both the players and lauded them for their performance at the highest level. He said that the government is paying special attention to promote sports at the grass roots level and called upon youth to actively participate in sports activities.
