Jammu, April 2: JDA is notorious in lot of issues and many complaints filed VC but the outgoing boss did not bother.
It is a shocking episode that Jammu Development Authority is denying possession of lot of commercial as well as residential plots to large number of allottees even after taking lakhs of rupees from them mainly for the reasons known to the bosses.
Priorily, illegalities increased with the no actions by then VC despite knowing the facts, which the new VC JDA, ocan detect easily from scruitinizing the records of each & every section, so that culprits can be punished.
One more hot issue is that Jammu Development Authority in February 2018 invited sealed bids from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for the allotment of various land patches in a prescribed format and in sealed cover.
Accordingly, large number of bids were received by the Jammu Development Authority and after following due procedure names of the successful bidders were announced for allotment of plots after payment of quoted amount. However, even after receiving full payment and 18% interest on the delayed payment the Jammu Development Authority has not given possession of the plots to some of allottees for the reasons best known to those who remained at the helm of affairs in the Authority.
From some Jammu Development Authority took money but lease deeds are not being executed by this way or the other, like in Birpur Colony as registerations are not being done by the SDM, Vijaypur.
Some complaints made on illegalities committed by so called CTP of JDA forwarded to the VC are not bothered, causing harassment to innocents & otherside loss of crore to JDA by way of building permission fee.
People expect a lot from new VC , when JDA is committing illegalities that is causing ahrrassment to innocents.
