DC Poonch launches mobile App for filing public grievances

POONCH, MARCH 23: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet on Monday launched a mobile application “Maddad” to facilitate local residents to file their grievances regarding the services delivery related to Jal Shakti and Power Development Departments.

Grievances will be reflected in the Department login real-time. Action taken by the department will also be visible to the complainant. Public can log in the app and after registration and send their complaint to any of the two departments.

The Deputy Commissioner, who launched the mobile app, said the android app is available for free on Google Play Store. This Mobile app has been indigenously designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, District Centre Poonch. The application will be made more interactive in near future based on the feedback and reviews.

He termed the initiative as a prudent step towards the delivery of G2C services. District Informatics Officer NIC Poonch, Narinder Singh briefed Deputy Commissioner Poonch about the features of the Mobile App.

He also apprised that this Mobile App will be upgraded in near future to accommodate more departments in this platform.
