JAMMU, Sep 14: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday cancelled all his scheduled meetings and reached his Kalidas Marg residence amid speculations of a growing rift between Samajwadi Party leaders and family members, reports said.
The development comes a day after Mulayam's brother Shivpal Yadav was appointed as state party president replacing Akhilesh Yadav.
Just a couple of hours after this, visibly angry Akhilesh Yadav stripped Uncle Shivpal Yadav of all his ministerial portfolios.
