SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Authorities on Tuesday sent seven Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) leaders including chief Abdul Qayoom Wani to different jails, reports said.
The leaders were arrested on Monday as they appeared in Lal Chowk to protest against civilian killings at the hands of government forces.
Police had detained EJAC chief Wani along with other senior members at Press Enclave and were lodged in Kothibagh police station, reports said.
