Jammu Sanskriti School Celebrates Sports Day


Jammu, Dec 05: Jammu Sanskriti School celebrated Sports Day.

The Press statement reads  "It is your response to winning and losing that makes you winner or loser. With this sportsmanship, the precincts of JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU was brimmed with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The overcast sky failed to dent the exuberance of students who welcomed the gathering with heartwarming welcome song followed by presentation of sapling and lighting of Olympic Torch. The event was taken to another level when Ms Rohini Aima : Principal cum vice-chairperson of the school in her welcome address conveyed her gratitude to Mr Nirmal: lecturer physical education (Department of youth services and sports) as Guest of Honor and eminent members from Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu & Kathua. In her address, she motivated and innerved the students and asserted that the school is conducting the Sports Meet following all the social distancing norms issued by MHRD.

The event entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the release of balloons by the dignitaries. An energizing display of Yogasana set the tone for the rest of the event. The students displayed their dexterity with Martial art, multifarious forms of races. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. The award ceremony for meticulous students created zeal among all for carving a niche and excelling in their respective fields UDAAN VII with theme “OJASAVA” was concluded with the address by Mr. Nirmal: lecturer physical education (Department of youth services and sports) as Guest of Honor who in his address congratulated the entire school and specifically the sports department namely:- Ms. Jagpreet, Ms. Tanishka, Mr. Yogesh, Mr. Ravinder and Mr. Rajesh for presenting divine and grandiose show. He also asserted that whatever one does, one should do it with all heart and soul to accomplish the task in hand. The vote of thanks was given by Mr. Yogesh Manhas and compeered by Ms. Sarika, Ms. Shallu and Ms. Hargun Kour."
