
NEW DELHI, Aug 23: J&K government officials with Police reached the bungalow around 5 pm on Monday to evict Payal Abdullah from the bungalow but the ITBP personnel refused to open the gate.
New Delhi Municipal Council officials, who had accompanied the estate officer, called a carpenter break the gate.
“The carpenter, removed one side of the gate and the estate staff entered the bungalow around 5.30 pm. Payal Abdullah was not present in the bungalow,” reports said
Payal Abdullah arrived at 6 pm and went inside the bungalow. Half an hour later, her counsel, Amit Khemka, claimed police personnel were throwing her belongings. He alleged they were misbehaving with her and not even preparing a list of her
At around 10.30 pm, two cars carrying luggage left the bungalow , Payal Abdullah also left the bungalow and a new name plate of Government of Jammu and Kashmir was put up.
