 
Jammu, August 18: Few days ago Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Sushma Chauhan issued directions for issuance of domiciles at door steps after some complaints of delays & as one Tehsildar was attached after some complaints in issuance of domiciles.
Pertinent to mention here that there were more complaints that despite applying more than 30 days people were not getting their domicile certificates following which DC Jammu took a decision of home delivery of domiciles in Jammu District & it workedm effectively.
Following the instructions of Deputy Commissioner for genuine cause, the process was started & Jai Singh, Tehsildar Norh took the lead in issuing domicile certificates at door step to ease the public in the interiors of Rai pur Domana & other areas of his jurisdiction.
Where as, Tehsildar Bahu Rohit Sharma , is providing Domicile Certificate to Public even before the guidelines timeline, fow which he been appreciated by Public.
However, the public as a whole appericiated the actions taken by the Deputy Commissioner over the issue & on the other side some requested to make surprise check in some offices as delays are being caused yet.
