JAMMU, July 28: J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday said that the Army and the Police did not know about the presence of Hizbul Commander Burhan Wani at encounter site on July 8th , if they had known then second chance could have been given.
Mehbooba reportedly told reporters "The Army and police officials told me that they just had information that three militants were hiding inside that house, If we had known, a second chance could have been given, as peace was spreading around Kashmir."
A militant end of the day is a militant and it will be intereting to see that whether BJP will endrorse the statement of CM Mehbooba Mufti and if they will it will go against their core approach.
