Udhampur, July 03: Giving details Sujit Kumar Singh, IPS DIG U-R Range said that on Thursday information received at PS Udhampur that some unknown persons have committed a murder of one *Rahul Bhagat S/O Subash Chander R/O Dandyal, Tehsil and Distt. Udhampur* with sharp edged weapon and body was lying on spot in the pool of blood. In this regard, a case was registered at PS Udhampur and investigation of the case was started.
During the course of enquiry, Police party of PS Udhampur under the supervision of *Sh.Rajinder Singh Katoch Incharge SSP Udhampur and Dr. Rohit Chadgal DySP Hqrs. Udhampur* and other team members of PS Udhampur detained some suspected persons who during the sustained interrogation, one of them namely *Manish Singh S/O Madan Singh R/O A/P W.No.21, Dandyal* confessed that he alongwith his associate namely *Mohd. Aslam S/O Nawab Din R/O Jojra Talab, Udhampur* had mudered the deceased with the sharp edged weapons over a land dispute.
On this disclosure of suspect namely Manish Singh, the weapon of offence (one Knife) has been recovered from the bushes near Londana Morh Udhampur and the blind murder case has been solved out within 24 hrs.
