SRINAGAR, July 18: Separatist leaderers Syed Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik Monday in a joint statement extended the ongoing strike call up to July 21 2 PM. They appealed people to observe complete shutdown on July 22 as well.
“In continuation with the protest program on July 19th and 20ththeir will be a complete shutdown and July 20 will be observed as black day .On21st July shutdown will continue till 2pm.Their will again be a complete shutdown on Friday the 22nd of July and post Friday prayers peaceful protest will be held in all mosques across the state. Meanwhile peaceful protests in mosques after Magrib prayers will continue on all days,” a joint statement of the separatist leaders said.
