Jammu, May 28: Passenger Reservation System counters have been opened for general public at various Railway Stations across Jammu & Kashmir, which will facilitate the refund for any cancellation of a counter ticket which was booked earlier and could not be refunded due to the prevailing lockdown when passenger train operations were restricted.
These counters will also enable the booking of counter tickets for the Passenger Special Train with numbers 02425/02426 running between Jammu Tawi and New Delhi Railway Stations since May 13, 2020. This train runs daily between Jammu Tawi and New Delhi Railway Station and has reservation in AC – I, AC – II & AC – III tier.
These PRS counters have been opened at Jammu Tawi Railway Station (from 08:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs), Samba Railway Station (from 15:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs), Udhampur Railway Station (from 08:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs) and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway Station (from 08:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs) in Jammu Division of the UT of J&K.
