JAMMU, May 13: Jammu and Kashmir is slowly turning back to normalcy as approximately 68000 Workers are currently engaged in functional Industrial units /Brick Kilns across J&K,
Commissioner Secretary Industries & Commerece Manoj Dwivedi said " We are slowly opening up & preparing ourselves to enter into next level of lockdown. In J&K we have allowed operation of 2077 SME and large units. 1596 units have become functional engaging 31566 workers. Other than this 186 brick kilns with 25987 workers are also operational now."
The number of Workers working in Functional Industrial units can be seen below, which will increase with more relaxations , as the Number of Industries functional will rise.
