
JAMMU: Principal Secretary Planning and Information, Jammu and Kashmir, Rohit Kansal said that the testing rate in Jammu and Kashmir is 703 per million, second highest in India.
So far, the Union Territory has reported 380 COVID-19 positive cases of which 294 are active cases–256 in Kashmir, 38 in Jammu, Kansal informed.
“The testing rate in Jammu and Kashmir is 703 per million, 2nd highest in India; bracing up to 1000 test in four ICMR accredited labs in UT; this has decreased the doubling rate of infections,” said Kansal.
