60 FIRs registered in Jammu, Samba, Poonch against violators of DM's orders


Jammu, March 23: Police registered 60 FIRs against violators of DM's orders pertaining to COVID-19 in Jammu, Samba and Poonch districts.

Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Shridhar Patil said that 29 FIRs have been registered and 27 shops were sealed for violating District Magistrate Jammu order issued pertaining to coronavirus pandemic adding that 124 vehicles were also sealed for violating the order.

Meanwhile, cases under FIRs Number 74/2020, 77/2020 and 78/2020 under Section 188 IPC have been registered for violating DM Samba order at Police Station Samba against the owner of Ulstran and Osaka Alloys and Steel Private Limited situated in Phase-II SIDCO Samba, owner of General Package situated in Phase-I SIDCO Samba and owner of shops Attri Traders at Maheshwar Samba, Krishan Traders situated at Diani, Today Pickle situated near Hospital Samba and Bittu Electric Work near Sanjha Chullah Samba.

However, cases under FIR Numbers 56/2020, 57/2020 and 58/2020 under Section 188 IPC have been registered for violating DM Samba order against M/s Vardaman Enterusion Private Limited, M/s Pencil Factory Domes Industries Private Limited and M/s Uflex Unit- I Private Limited at Police Station Bari Brahmana followed by 25 FIRs under Section 188 IPC have been registered and many vehicles were seized by a team from Police Station Poonch for violating the District Magistrate Poonch order.
