Drones To Be Used For Monitoring Amarnath Yatra For Security Purpose


JAMMU, June 29:  Authorities will use higly effective Drones to monitor Amarnath Yatra following intelligence tips that militants may be planning to target the Hindu pilgrimage, reports said on Wednesday.

The drones equipped with cameras  will hover over the entire route,  quoting sources India Today TV reported.

As per reports from Lakhanpur onwards, the devotees will be protected by the CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police escorts and guards, all along the route. The BSF will carry out joint patrols. Army deployments have been ordered in high-altitude areas of the pilgrimage trek.

The Yatra will began on June 2.
