
Jammu, Feb 26: In the wake of murder of senior lawyer in Jammu, the police department is planning to start hi-tech profiling of servants.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu Sridhar Patil chaired a high level meeting where the police evolved a strategy to nab the accused, a resident of Bihar & discussed how to prevent any such incident from taking place in future.
It was reportedly decided that it would be made mandatory for the Jammuites to get the profiling of their domestic helps done at the concerned police stations.
Apart from digital images of the domestic helps, the police will be keeping record of the permanent address of such persons. Besides, strategic details like their age, height etc to be recorded.
General public would be apprised shortly about such a development through a notification via print and electronic media as and when the proposal is finalized.
