Anti-encroachment drive taken on mission mode in Udhampur,  30,000 kanal illegal entries to be expunged
UDHAMPUR: Giving strict directions to all SDMs/Tehsildars, Deputy Commisioner Udhampur Dr Piyush Singla have asked for expunging illegal  entries of encroached state/Kahcharai land from revenue records in next 7 days. Duly sworn in affidavit to this effect have to be submitted by all Tehsildars  to Deputy Commissioner in next 10 days.
Besides, schedule for removal of encroachment of big patches of state land have also been finalised. 
Reviewing Jamabandi writing progress Deputy Commisioner was briefed by ACR that they have written 310 Jambandis out of 386. He further gave target of 15th March for completing leftover Jambandis. ADC briefed meeting about progress of scanning and quality check of revenue records under DLRMP program. Weekly targets were given for the said activities. DC further exhorted all officers to work in mission mode on removal of encroachments. Also,he complemented revenue team for using SAKOON digital platform wholeheartedly for relief disbursement for which District Udhampur received National e Governance Award recently.
