JAMMU, Feb 05: Two Senior Officers are in race to become Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Secretary Finance in Government of India.
Highly placed Sources in Delhi Power Corridor told Cross Town News that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam and Gujarat Cadre IAS Officer Arvind Kumar Sharma are in race to get the prestigious post of Secretary to PM in Prime Minister's Office and Secretary Finance in Government of India.
Highly placed Sources told Cross Town News that both the Officers are top notch Officers where one will go to PMO and other will get Secretary Finance most likely.
BVR Subrahmayam was empanelled to hold post of Secretary rank at Centre last year, whereas Sources told Cross Town News that Arvind Kumar Sharma, presently posted as Additional Secretary in PMO, will be empanelled for holding posts of rank of Secretary in February ending.
BVR Subrahmanyam has worked earlier also in Prime Minister's Officer under PM Narendra Modi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Sources told Cross Town News that post of Secretary to PM is vacant , whereas post of Secretary to Finance will vacant in February after retirment of Rajiv Kumar.
