DODA, JANUARY 22: District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for the celebration of 10th National Voters Day.
It was decided in the meeting that district level function will be held at Town Hall Doda on 25 January 2020, meanwhile similar function will also held at ARO level and at every Sub Division level under the theme "Electoral Literacy for Strong Democracy”. It was also decided in the meeting that awareness stall of EVM-VVPAT shall be put on display at the designated venue and Nodal officer EVM-VVPAT shall give live demonstration to the voter's especially to the new ones.
DDC, who is also the District Election Officer, directed the CEO Doda and Principal GDC's to establish Electoral Literacy Clubs in all the educational institutions and they shall conduct all the activities mention in the hand book of Chunav Patshalla to make them valiant and radiant, besides to ensure participation of all to celebrate National Voters Day in their respective jurisdictions as per guidelines. He also said that special focus will be given on PWD Voters and new voters who have attained 18 years of age recently.
Among others ADC Doda, Deputy DEO, ACR, Principal GDC Doda, DPO, Tehsildar's, DSWO Doda, CEO, PO IWMP, and District Officer Youth Service Sports were also present in the meeting.
